    1. Didnt fell it but herd the rumble like a large truck in the near distance that was more constant. House is built on dobe glacial deposites of about 90 feet from bed rock.

    2. The sound was memorable, it sounded like heavy caterpillar tracked plant moving on the road but became much louder to a point where it was deafening and then fell away in an even manner just the same as it started. It lasted for somewhere between 20 to 30 seconds. At its peak of sound a tremor was felt for a few seconds.

    3. It was the sound that alerted me mainly. Short rumbling that we put down to aircraft as they often pass over but on analysis it was the earthquake. Checked times on the computer and there was no activity for the 5 minutes we were looking out of the window trying to determine what made the sound. The activity break matches the earthquake time.
